Artists Statement I
continue to seek out natural subjects that fulfill my love of the
natural world. My images are my attempt to capture the spirit of time,
place, season, atmosphere and mood with colors that are bold and
vibrant. My touch is expressive. Expressive Realism Paint,
color, texture and form are elements that combine to elicit a response
from the viewer. This response is as important as the place depicted. I
have always wanted to be an artist. I have been creating paintings
since I was eleven years old. My “plein air” works inspire me in my
studio in Needham, Massachusetts.
